Enoch Root, 1743 Connecticut

I'm actually looking to make a stronger connection for my ancestor Hiram Root born about 1800 in Caanan, Litchfield, Connecticut. Hiram married Cornelia Smith. I still need to prove that I  think Aaron Root, born 1765, and either Jerusha or Olive Stevens are his parents. I believe that Aaron was the son of Enoch, born 1743, and his first wife, but I need to prove that too.
