Russell Surname in CT and NY

Seeking relatives of a Wesley R (Rueben) Russell born in Milltown NY and lived his adult life in Danbury CT.  Up until his marriage in 1888 I can find no record of him.

On his marriage record he list Balis Russell and Sarah Barrett of Putnam NY as his parents. I find Sarah on other family trees married to John B. Russell but no mention of my great grandfather as their child.
