My SAUNDERS' , as far back as I can get, came from Dinton Buckinghamshire, I can get back as far as Francis SAUNDERS married to Mary ROGERS they were born about 1773, Married 05 may 1794, Francis was a butcher. I believe most of the family remained in Dinton or near by. My end went to Surrey then to Canada and on to the US  ending up in Washington and California. I would like to go further back with Francis and Mary. I have more information about the descendants, but will post this for now. I have added my tribal pages site where I have the children of my ancestors etc. Any comments, resources or help would be appriciated.

I have Hannah Saunders b 1845 in Dinton, Bucks married to Henry William CHAPMAN in Pimlico in 1884. He was my great grand uncle and was a bank messenger. In 1881 they were both in service in the same house. Hannah (Annie) was a housekeeper and Henry a footman.
Would be happy to have contact with anyone connected to Hannah.

Jan Paton (Chapman)

I am still confused about how to post here, I wrote a reply but I will need to wait to seeif it shows up, if it doesn't I will write again.
Yes, I think she may be. I haven't researched the Saunders line yet. Henry Chapman had 15 siblings which have kept me busy. The marriage cert. would confirm the father's name so will send for it soon.

My Hannah would be my 3-great Aunt, her Father, Reuben was the brother of my 3-great grandfather John Saunders married to Eliza Welford. both men were the sons of Francis Saunders and Mary Rogers. You might also look on rootsweb family connect, there is a lady there who has done an extensive tree on the Saunders' her name is Heather.
I can't wait to see what your Birth record says. There are several Hannah Saunders' around Dinton. If you are connected to my Hannah then you will have many distant cousins from this line. some live neat London and one lives by Bristol now.
My Hannah would be my 3-great aunt, her father and my 2-great grandfather, John Saunders, were borthers. John Saunders was married to Eliza Welford, both Ruben and John were the sons of Francis Sanders and Mary Rogers. Francis and John were both butchers.
