Anton Schmidt of Saarland 1842 became Antony Smith Washington Co WI 1850

Looking to connect with descendants of Anton Schmidt and Catherine Dillinger, married 1802 in Saarland.  They buried a son, Christoph, at Ittersdorf Catholic Church October 1842.  They lived in Washington Co WI by time of the 1850 census.  I descend from their daughter, Margaret (1833-1906) who married Johan Adam Schneewies about 1853.
