CARDUFF,CARNDUFF,BECKETT,SHAW,WALLACE,OWENS,LOGAN

My greatgrandparents were Alexander Carduff b 1849 and Catherine Beckett b 1852, both Paisley Renfrewshire. Catherine's father was Andrew Beckett (have found nothing on him) and her mother was Sarah Owens Beckett Quails, abt 1820 daughter.of Andrew Owens and Joan Logan of Kilmarnock Ayrshire.

In the Carduff line, Alexander's father was David 1796 Kilmarnock and mother Janet Shaw 1798 Paisley. David's father was David 1771 and Elizabeth Wallace. Between the two Davids, the name changed from CARNDUFF to CARDUFF. David Carnduff's parents may have been Andrew Carnduff and Marrion Hamilton of Avondale Lanarkshire. I haven't found proof of this yet
