Ken, Do you know the name of any of their other children? Or where they migrated to (if they left VA?) I am still looking for my Ellen Scott (Layton)'s parents. I thought she was from Spotsylvania BUT maybe a surrounding county. All those county lines kept changing so back then! I stumbled across some info on Ancestry in the land records section on some Scotts in Amelia CO in 1814/16, a will of Robert Scott (wife Mary, sister Sally) and lots of kids (Polly Ann, Jeanette, Rebecca, Martha, Wm, Joseph, Robert, Elizabeth, Eleanor.... Orig is supposed to be in Will book 12- section 209. Proved 25 Nov. 1816. Hope this helps.

Bonnie Winn.
Bonnie, David & Judith had five children that I know of. James, Sarah B-1727 Monongalia Va.- WV, Rahael, Phoebe, and John. I beleive David Scott received land in the Western District of Virginia (West Virginia) for his service.

James Scott married Amelia Daugherty about 1768 in Monongalia County Va.
They had 12 Children. David, Enoch, Jemina, Hanna, Judith, Catherine, Jefferson, Cynthia, and Jacob. James would be my relative.
