I'm doing paper scrapbooking and - very, very slowly - I'm making some albums. One I need to finish by Christmas is for my brother - about our childhood - includes family photographs, some research I've done about the neighbourhoods we lived in, etc. Never enough time for this though.
I did try a few digital projects but that wasn't the same for

Well good morning all. I'm actually a night owl, so I'll be going to bed here soonly. But you guys can chatter away and when I get up this evening we can get this group going in earnest. Meanwhile here is a link to an article I wrote to help get you thinking:

I will be happy to help where I can. My mother has done several digital scrapbooks and a few traditional ones. So I nave some of both. I have printed out the ones my mother did and put them in books.

Welcome Eileen :)

Lots of people feel like you do, but combining the two can have great advantages. For example, you can print out pages of elements to cut out and add to your pages, and it saves you money because you can print out as many as you want without having to buy more, and you can get some awesome designs in digital that you can't find premade in paper.

Scrapbooking is another project that I would love to learn to do with all the materials that I have collected through the years in researching my Family History.

How wonderful Nancy. Maybe I can look to you for advice to those who wish to do their scrapping the traditional way. I am a die hard digital gal, so someone needs to help me out int hat area. :)

Welcome to the group.

My name is Nancy and I do "traditional" scrapbooking; meaning with paper, etc. rather than digital. The book I just did is on 12 by 12 paper so it does not fit on my scanner. I am looking into a way to scan or photograph the pages and if I manage it, I will post a few pictures as samples.
