That certainly is, and you can see how meaningful they are. Many people, when doing genealogy research though, just print out the data, like a census or a will they found. But I say, why not add some beauty to it,a nd make it something special. We will learn all about that once I catch my breath and can get organized. Things here are moving soooo fast lol.

Thank you Katrina. My daughter is interested in scrapbooking in as much she does put together some lovely booklets using Microsoft Publisher. She recently did one for my 70th birthday and one for her older sisiter's 40th. They were made up of written contributions from friends and relations and lots of photos. I know I treasure mine. Is that what scrapbooking is?

Please introduce yourselves as you join, so we can all get to know each other. Tell us if you are already doing family history scrapping, or are interested in learning more about it.

Thanks,
Kat

I am interested in learning more about this. I use the Serif software and they have a program called Digital Scrapbook Artist. Does anyone know anything about it?

I recently did a heritage album of my direct-line ancestors. I am planning one now for my husband's ancestors.

Welcome everyone,

This group is for people who do or wish to learn to scrap their family history data, in a beautiful way that will be cherished for generations. Read my article about this here http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1898640/archiving_genealogical_and_family_history.html?cat=37

Also check out my website at www.genscraps.com to see what kind of thing I am talking about. We can share ideas and designs, and I will see about setting up a place on my site for us to keep files. I hope you are as excited about this site as I am, and that you will enjoy being a part of this group.
