Siblings - Ann and Joseph Schaefer from New York City

My mother-in-law Ann Schaefer was born 1/1/1917 to parents Joseph Schaefer (born abt 1882 in Austria) and Anna Polissa. After their parents deaths in the late 20s, both children Ann and Joseph, Jr. were sent to the Five Points House of Industry Orphanage in New York City and are listed in the US Federal Census for 1930.  I am looking for any Schaefer family from New York City from the same time period.  She is deceased now and lost track of her brother Joseph who was born in 1915.
