Simpson Clan

Seeking relatives of James A Simpson, whose son, John Simpson, served in civil war to combat slavery.  Staunch radical abolitionists they were!  James was in Canada for a time before 1850 and ended up in Madison County, Ohio at the Big Darby Baptist Church for over 25 yrs on a PT basis.  James was married to Ellen Ryder and they had the following children (my link is with James E Simpson):
