Hello Swedish.
Do not worry. Some family history research takes time and little digging in a lot of places and asking lots of questions.
Haynes was likely the photographer and studio owner. Most studios were one man operations (rarely women). Fargo is a prominent city today in North Dakota. DT means Dakota Territory. It was territory from 1861 until 1889 when it became a state. There was lots of Swedish immigration in this area. It is just across the river from Morehead Minnesota. Photography bacame very popular in the 1880s... before that not so much. Clothes in portraits generally do not help.
Since you have an immigration year, you should ckeck for her travel there first.
How Sweden are divided in, you should read more in Hans Högman's website. The link you have above.

Skaddeg should be a farm but somehow the spelling isn't correct. The farms in Åsaka are:
Godegården, Frugården, Herregården, Klockarebolet, Stommen and Västergården.
So you Skaddeg should be one of them.
Looking for information on Alma and Axel Lundqvist and their father Carl and any other family members.
Alma was born in Ostra Gerum on 14 Feb 1882.
Axel was born in Ostra Gerum on about 1890.
These two Emigrated to Brooklyn, New York.
Thank you
John - we move this subject to Tidaholm instead as Östra Gerum is a parish in that area.
Found them in Census 1900.

Hello,
I have a Sven Svensson (Häll/Hell is the military name when he was in Kymbo) born on September 12, 1787 in Kinnevad. I'm not sure which parish this is in, but a google search says it is near Skara. I'm looking for his parents and any siblings.
Thanks in advance.
