Smiths of Readfield, Kennebec, Maine

I'm looking for information about of descendants of the family of Samuel Smith (one of thousands, I know). Samuel and wife Sally Davis were married 4 Nov 1815 and had 6 children: Samuel Jr. (my great-great grandfather), Sumner, Salmon, Silmon, Sorannus, and Mary D. I have the birthdates for the children.

Samuel Jr. migrated to Iowa where he married Margaret E. Ream. Their children are Adda L., Frank Ream, Otto Franz, Otis D., Cora B., Anna May, Lettie Sarah, Margaret Marie, Samuel Guy, and Charles Clyde. Salmon married Julia F. Jackson in Readfield. Their children are John F., Luella J., Addie E., Lettie F., and Myrtie L. Sorannus and Mary D. were listed in the Iowa state census is 1856 with Samuel Jr. and family.
