What were they thinking

My Buckinghams either had a very odd sense of humor or absolutely no sense at all when it came to naming their children.

Names such as Peregrine, Nimrod, Larkin, Freeborn, Norval, Lovelace Mortimer, Apparilla, Laban, Beale just to name a few.

The list just goes on and on. They were quite a creative family, and it did make research not only easier, but fun. Unlike my Root family who apparently were totally content with a set series of 6 names. Which made trying to figure out which Root brother was the father of which set of kids a head banging experience.

What fun and unusual names have you discovered?
