I just started looking back into my Stackhouse line from New Brunswick, Canada and other Surnames connected to them. I will start to list some of the surnames and hope someone might know and share something about their line.
Welcome to the group Judy!
My line in PA would be:
- Thomas Stackhouse 27 Nov 1660, Settle, West Riding, Yorks, England, 26 Jun 1744, Middletown, County Bucks, PA, & Grace Alice Heaton (daughter of Robert Heaton & Alice Alis)
- Robert Stackhouse, 1692, Middletown, Bucks Co., PA., 1788, Briar Creek, Columbia Co., PA. & Margaret Stone.
- Joseph Stackhouse, 1723-1788 & Providence Henshaw
- Joseph Stackhouse, 1747-1827 & Sarah Green (daughter of Rufus Green)
Note Joseph born in 1747 was a loyalist and ended up in New Brunswick, (Canada)
P.S. the William Stackhouse 1791-1863 was in the Buckingham.
