The earliest Sullivan ancestor I have any information on is:
William Sullivan b abt 1855 probably SC and his wife Mary Elizabeth Brantley who was about 20 years his junior from all accounts I have seen.

Children of this union are:

William Jr (my ggggreat grandfather) he married Lydia Peacock

Sarah

Members of this family migrated to North Florida in the 1840's settling in the Lafayette/Madison/Hamilton Counties area.

Hi Laverne,
My Sullivans came from Ardee, Louth County, Ireland originally. Looks like they emmigrated in through VA and into NC-first Duplin County then Brunswick County where my immediate Sullivans are from. I had some Sullivans move to FL, but it was to SE FL-my uncle and my dad, and they eventually moved back to NC.
Wish I had a line on your Sullivans, but I'll keep an eye and hear open to see what and who I can find. In fact I'm having a reunion tomorrow, we'll see who pops up.
