Jane Swain
Looking for information on Jane Swain/ Swayn /Swaine b. c 1785 in Wiltshire, England.
Married Robert Barnett of Steeple Ashton, Wiltshire June 08, 1813. They had three sons, 2 of which immigrated to Massachusetts and RI and a daughter. Only the 2 sons Giles and Luke immigrated to USA with their families. Looking to go backward from 1813 to solidify information on Robert and any information available on Jane Swain. I do have sources in England for the above information.
Have been searching for years, but no luck, so am participating in as many sites as I can to try and make contact with any descendant of the name Swain or any other spelling.
Willing to share any information I have. My family tree is located on another web site.

News Flash, Update I finally broke through my brick wall on Jane Swain, Wiltshire, England. I am just elated after a 10year search, one e-mail with one place of birth broke down the wall. Found many members of the family. Anyone wanting information contact.

I am a descendant of Jane's brother William, whose grandson emigrated to Canada from Trowbridge in the 1870s. -
