Hey, Kennert...

Do you know where he was headed in the US? I found a Karl Johan Viktor Peterson, born 1868 in Sweden who died in Kansas. He's part of the Carr Family Tree on ancestry.com. His parents are...Father: Peter Andrew Johnson, Mother: Anna Sofia Andersdotter Backer. Unfortunately, I don't have a paid subscription, so I couldn't get more details. That was the best possibility I came up with in my quick search...

Hey, Kennert...

Looks like it's not the KVP on that person's Tree, but it definitely could be the one I emailed you a link to on the Ellis Island site... If Karl Viktor left Sweden in April of 1892, arriving at Ellis in June exactly 2 months later would be about right...
