Hi!
I found the birthnotice of a Per, born 29th of april 1840 in Ekshärad. The quality of the picture is not to good bt I´m pretty sure that the name of his father is Per Nilsson. His mothers name starts whit the letters Ma... Sorry I cant tell you more since the text has faded. Maybe it could be Marit witch seems to be a common name at that time.
Kerstin, his wife, was the daughter of the soldier Öijberg (no other name) and Marit Jonsdotter in Södra Öjenäs.
Per Persson and Ingeborg Larsdotter was the witnesses when Kerstin was baptised the 5th of Mar 1848.

Family is noted in Ekshärad church records at AI:27, page 344; AI:29, page 112; AI:31, page 125, etc.
The family emigrated in February of 1882.
Family is: Per, Kerstin, Peter, Lars, Maria J., Lars, Kristina E, Johan J., Nils E, Nils E, Otto E. and Albert W. They lived in Kerkhoven, Swift County, Minnesota. A lot of information exists on this extended family.
