Douwe's family
One of the things that might be pretty cool on this site is if we could collaborate. Toward that end, I've attached to his discussion what I have of Douwe Harmense and his children. Not much is sourced, or sourced very poorly. There are several holes in the story. Some of the notes might have conflicting information. But, it is, as they say, a start.
I invite anyone to download this and post here what you can add and what you can correct. If this works, we can walk through the line, generation by generation.

Dear Doug,
Would you mind posting the gedcom as a text file ? I, like most people who are interested in Douwe, already have Douwe in my family tree program. If I have to open this gedcom I will have two files containing information on Douwe. This might get a bit confusing ..

Here it is. (For the record, the gedcom is a text file. All you'd have to do is change the extension.

Doug, I cannot open the Douwe info in the ged file and when I open the text file it is a long list of words. Hate to ask, but could you put the info on Douwe in a pdf file? Thanks.
