Eleazar Tanner (c1826-1900) Mahone Bay, NS -> Boston, MA

My husband is descended of the above man through his first wife Ann Stewart Sturmy. They married in Halifax in 1846. They arrived at Boston, MA on the "Bark Halifax" in April 1857, were in Cambridge in the 1860 and 1865 censuses; she died in 1867; he is with younger children in Boston in 1870; not found in 1880. Their son, Edward C. Tanner (1848-1913) m 1876 (in Manhattan) Adelaide A. Young (1855-1907).  My husband is descended from their daughter Edna Jane Tanner (c1878-1913) who m1 1898 George Hampton Hill. The photos below are of Edna Jane at 18 and then 28. She m2 abt 1910 John Pridgeon Jr in Detroit and died of lobar pneumonia probably related to complications of childbirth in 1913.
