Rainbolts

My family came from Carter County Tennessee which was formerly North Carolina. I have hit a brick wall trying to find out the name of my great grandfather's father. My great grandfather's name was Elisha Rainbolt and he married Celia Wilson in 1873/ I believe I am descended from Joseph Rainbolt and Susannah Grindstaff through one of their sons.
