Gail -- I have the same John Buckingham. He was twice married --- first to Frances Hooper and second to Hannah Gosnell. Three children by Frances and four by Hannah.

I have trace my family back to  John Buckingham born 1660 in England.

Married Frances Hooper in 1697 St. Margrets Parish, MD.I don't no much before that. Would be interested in any information that is available.

Trudy, I have Hannah Hawkins as the first wife of Thomas Buckingham --She was born about 1610, in Eng.. died 28 Jun 1646 in Milford, New Haven, Ct....Ann may be a 2nd wife. I see now where I have some of this info. below also. I have been to your genealogy site and you have done a nice job with it. I will be useing it often for info. TJ

Did you check the Gary site again? I've put more informatioin on Enos Gary up there. I have the Thomas and Hester, and Thomas and Margaret Griswold. If you have information on the first Thomas who married Hanna, could you share. I show him married to an Ann.

Trudy your about a Min. a head of me. I was comeing to this family to get something started. and lo. your here also. I have Thomas Buckingham Married to a Hanna Hawkins, she was his first wife. They had a son Thomas Married a Hester Hosmer, and they had a son Thomas married Margaret Griswold etc.

I'm related to Enos Gary married Esther Buckingham. Enos served as a Private in the Revolutionary War. According to my documentation, all Buckinghams descend from Thomas Buckingham the Puritan settler.
