I don't know if this affects more than me - my iTunes noticed the new episode and started downloading it. I didn't think any more about it until nearly an hour later I noticed that iTunes was setting about downloading ALL the episodes again. I stopped it after I'd got 28 of them that I'd already heard. I "know" I hadn't done the "Get All Episodes" thing, so at least for now I'm assuming it was something to do with the changes at LibSyn?

AT LAST! It took a bunch of emails to the hosting service to expedite their "maintenance" but we finally have a NEW podcast episode for you. We've also discussed how to produce more frequent episodes for you. Thanks for your patience!

We have a new episode all ready to go. However, our podcast host, Libsyn, is in the process of updating accounts to their new LibSyn 3 system. As soon as we get the go-ahead from them, the new podcast will be uploaded. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Norman, we only check on this kind of problem if we hear from a significant number of individuals (not just a few). We've already had over 750 downloads of the latest episode, so it sounds like the problem isn't affecting too many people.

I was able to load the Genealogy Guys:Podcast website this morning.

George ... if others are experiencing this same difficulty, is someone checking into this very frustrating situation?

http://GenealogyGuys.com/ has been intermittent for me for several days now - sometimes it will load, sometimes (probably more often) it won't - right now has just loaded, but 5 minutes ago it wouldn't.

When I said "log on" I meant to bring the site up in my browser.

I keep receiving the following error message: "This webpage is not available. The webpage at http://www.genealogyguys.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error."

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Norman, I checked just now and got to genealogyguys.com without problem. (I'm not sure what you mean by logging on, though. It's not a site you login to.)
