Texas Land Grant

James Kegans was given the disputed land grant but he didn't claim it before his death and it appears non of the family ever did either.

It has gone to court, I understand) 3 times, the first two lawers were supposidly (is that a word?) bought off and the 3rd died before it went to court Last time was I believe 1947 when they were thinking about it again. But all the Kegans and relations together aren't going to find the money to defeat the 3 major oil companies. So it was time to forget it.
