In 1833 William Truitt received 200acres of land as a penshioner in the American Revolution fighting in Campbell Co., VA. This land was located near the VA-NC border. I am looking foir anysiblings and/or descendents of William who might of then headed to NC, as there is no subsequesnt listing of a Truitt on any muster roll from later wars from that area.
