Tuckers from Kentucky or Tennesse that ended up in Arkansas

My Tucker family starts with John A. Tucker, born 1809 in Kentucky or Tennesse, died before 1870 in Arkansas. He was bushwacked. He married Lucinda Arrington, born 1815 in North Carolina.

John's son Robert S. Tucker, born 1836 in Arkansas, died 1882 in Arkansas, married Elizabeth Susan Lane Stansell, born 1844 in Atlanta, Georgia, died 1924 in Arkansas.

I would love to find anyone related (I have more info on the family), and if anyone has info on John's parents or siblings, it would be wonderful.

earliest Tucker I have is Robert Tucker who md. Salinda, no dates or places.
their son Wm. A. Tucker b @1798 TN d 1878 Madison Co AR. md Anna James b 1804 TN died 1876 Madison Co AR.
their dau. Lucinda Tucker b @1827 TN died aft 16 June 1893 in AR or OK? md Wm. P. Hill. Wm. Hill was a Confederate and died in Alton IL prison as a POW.

Hi Donna,

It's possible that Robert could be a brother to John A. If they were both born in Tennessee and moved to Arkansas (or Robert's family did anyway), it seems more than a coincidence. What documentation on Wm, Anna, Lucinda and Wm Hill do you have? Maybe we can figure something out.

Sheila, Hi, I am a descendant of John A. Tucker. His son Robert S. Tucker is my G,G,G grandfather. Robert's son Jesse Robert Tucker is my G,G grandfather while his son Ardyce Vance Tucker is my G grandfather. I have a few pictures of Jesse Robert Tucker and his wife Eva Lester Tucker if you would like me to send them to you....

Any info on this line that you have would be wonderfull! I am stumped at John A. Tucker, It appears that his father is Robert Tucker born around 1777 in North Carolina and migrated to Arkansas but this information is not yet 100% validated.

I married a Sarah Caroline Tucker in Monticello, AR in March 1945. Her Tucker side was from Dermott, AR. I will get back with more later. J V Vinyard

Further on Sarah. I have - Zadock Tucker, b. ca 1792 Maryland, Zadock Tucker b. ca 1816 Guilford County, NC, Zedock C. Tucker, b. ca 1849, Giles County, TN, James Zedock Tucker, b. 12/10/1872, AR, (possibility Warren County, AR), Zedock Carson Tucker, b. 2/18/1900, Dermott, AR (father of Sarah).
