Loyalists in North Carolina

I have recently approached a new project within the piedmont region of North Carolina. I am collecting data concerning the Loyalists during the summer and fall of 1780. I am also researching the refugee status of these individuals and determining if they moved elsewhere or stayed in North Carolina. I have located several documents proving their movements from Charlestown (Charleston), SC to areas along the Canadian border during the years of 1782 thru 1785. Some of these individuals migrated to Florida, but this seems to be temporary. Do you suspect Loyalist lineage in your family tree in this area?
