census of Union and Confederate Veterans

I have found out that in 1890 there was a U. S. Census of Civil War Veterans done but, like the U S Census of 1890, some it has been lost. Also in 1911 there was a U S Census of Confederate Veterans. Both are on mocrofilm at NARA. Go to the NARA website to find what rolls are available.
