Native Americans in the Civil War

In the January 2012 issue of Cowboys and Indians Magazine there is a very interesting article about Native Americans who fought in the Civil War. They fought for both the Union and Confederates and they were from states you would not normally associate with Native Americans (or I wouldn't) such as Michigan.
