Michael,
There are 177 in our records with the 7th CT INF. It would take me a long time and lots of space here to transcribe the details however I can email you a file if you drop me an email to Frye@pstel.net.

I would like that very much. I have a copy of the telegraphs from June 2nd and it looks like the Seventh suffered the most losses, it was a pretty brutal fight.

If you want more info on the 7th CT at Andersonville let me know. I am not at home at the moment and do not have access to my records.

Michael...The finding that a couple of soldiers within his regiment went to Andersonville Prison only gives you a possible clue of a resource to research. Please notice that within the web site, Kevin Frye has also provided an offer to check to lookups from the Andersonville National Historic site online database.

Great site. After going through the Atware list I did not see his name, so this leads to a number of possibilities. He either was somewhere else, he is an unnamed soldier or he did not make the list. None of these scenarios offer closure to the story. But I will keep digging.
