Is it possible to get records of prisoners that were held at Andersonville? My G- Uncle, Isaac Coleman was a prisoner there...his name was spelled Colman and he was in the 22 IL inf.

Ok. I know this is a group geared towards researching our civil war relatives. BUT I feel I need to post this .
Someone has found it in their best interest to continue to try and build a casino in Gettysburg.
This is something we cannot allow to happen.
Should we allow something like this to happen in one of our nations most treasured historic places?? NO!
Please go to http://nocasinogettysburg.org/ and sign the online petition against this.
Also check out how others feel at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nubs99Vz_yg/watch?v=Nubs99Vz_yg" target="_blank"">
Some of the country's most widely known people are against this.
I have nothing against casinos but not located near such places as Gettysburg.
