My husbans's g g grandfather was with the 19th Ohio for three months, and then reenlisted with the 115th Ohio for three years. While doing family research last year we found his cremains still being kept in the Oregon State hospital, had them shipped to us, and held a reenactment and funeral for him in his hometown. If it wasn't for all the genealogy sites and groups like this one, he could still be sitting in Oregon and unclaimed. UNBELIEVEABLE!
I don't know if anyone has seen this site but I find it useful.
