VA. DAVID KAUFFMAN / COFFMAN WAS BORN 1750 / 51 IN LANCASTER CO. PA. HE DIED MARCH 1835 IN LIMESTONE CO. AL. HIS WIFE MAY HAVE BEEN THE DAUGHTER OF ROBERT LOVELL AND SARAH MARSHALL, NEEDS PROOF. I am searching for information regarding Jesse R. Barnett. In the census records, it shows his place of birth as Virginia. He was born in possibly early 1800's. His wife is listed as Docia. The only other information I have found for Jesse R. Barnett is that he died in 1847 in Buchanan County Missouri. I cannot locate a death record, burial place or any other information. He had four children that I have found in the census records. Basha 1827, VA, Zachia 1829, NC, Hanna 1831, MO and my 2nd great grandfather Jesse born in 1838 in MO and he was married Lillie Pritchett. I am looking for information for Jesse R. and who his parents may have been. Any help making a connection would be greatly appreciated! I have run into a brick wall and cannot seem to get past it. Thanks!

Sally, I have a possibility -- Robert Dewey Haga, b 13 Jun 1898, d 11 Aug 1963 in Orlando, FL, bur in Grubbs Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Grayson Co., VA, md Nannie Hash 1900-1980. He was s/o James Haga 1972-1893 and Rosa Hash. His siblings were Cebert, Eli, Mattie Lee, and Vance. I have no dates for them. I have seen the name Roby Haga discussed on the Grayson Heritage list, or the New River Notes list. BTW, James was the s/o Henry Haga and Margaret Delp. Looking for info on the Calverts of Wise County (Gladeville). They moved to Raleigh Co WV around 1900-1910.

Laura, my nephew's mother was SHIRLEY HAGA, b. 1939. I think her father, ROBY HAGA, b. 1900, was originally from Grayson County, VA. They moved to Smyth County, VA years ago, maybe around 1950. Does this name mean anything to you?

My kids' Virginia ancestors come from Grayson County. Some of the surnames I'm interested in there are BOBBITT, HASH, HAGA, COOPER, NICHOLS, NUCKOLLS, and ANDERS

Husbands Family is From Wideners Valley Washington County Virginia. Would love to find pictures or anyinformation on Wideners Valley. Thanks for any help or Advise. Also Workin on the Surname of Boggs, Who Also lived in that Area and Went to Letcher County Kentucky.

Is WILLIAMS her maiden name? I looked on Ancestry.Com, but nothing showed up with the name you listed.

My maternal grandmother was also a Williams. I am doing that family history. I saw where some of them were in Richmond, VA, after coming over from London, England. I do have a CATHERINE WILLIAMS b. abt 1606, in London, England, listed in my history. I guess that was a common name.
