Volpin surname

This group will be of interest to anybody looking into genealogical information / research of the Volpin family.

My branch of the Volpin family originally comes from the Veneto area in North-Eastern Italy. Within the Veneto region most members seem to come from the Padova and Rovigo provinces.

My great-grandfather (GGF) emigrated from Rovigo to the state of Sao Paulo in Brazil.

This GGF married into the Capato family.

Capato is a typical surname from the Rovigo province in the Veneto region in Italy.

When doing some basic research into the Volpin surname, I found there also are quite a few members from Russia (mostly Jewish members) of which quite a few emigrated to the USA (some to Argentina).
