Seven Pines...published 1986 Camilla Davis Trammell

I'd really like to know if my Gus LaCour is the one mentioned in this book, and would like to get this book for my grandmother regardless. I tried seeing if any of my local used bookstores had it. I live in Virginia and when I mentioned Texas history, they looked at me as if I had 5 heads and was growing another-

I'd rather not go through Amazon, but will if I have to..:)
