Spartanburg, SC or as it was spelled then Spartanburgh.

There was a prominent Williams family living in South Carolina during that time. My husband's Davis family married into the Williams family many times.

I couldn't find an Elial Williams, nor a Frederick, in my database. Do you know of any other surnames in your database that were associated with your Williams family?

I have Nicholas, McCorkle, Parr, Todd, Comer, Springer, Steen, Davis, Ivey, and Shelton surnames who are married to Williams family in South Carolina. They were in Rocky Creek, Union County, during the 1800's.
