In my research I've seen imigrants from England or Wales. From some old family members, they said our Woodburn grandfather imigrated from Scotland to Ireland and married an Irish woman and then the later generations came to America. The census records do say they came from Ireland. I can take my Woodburns back to 1790 in Pennsylvania and then I'm stuck. Like to hear from anyone researching a Woodburn line.

Do you know that all these Woodburns are in your line or is this just a list of census records etc with Woodburn names. Can you tell me your line from you to your first Woodburn grandparents? This might make it possible to try and help you. Let me know.

Kathy
Regina,
Most of the Woodburns listed are in my family from Thomas W Woodburn on down.
Where do you fit in? Noah was my Great Grandfather.

Kathy,
Has been a while since we have emailed. I descend from Thomas W Woodburn . I too cannot find how the Washington Co Woodburns came to America. Of course there were earlier Woodburns in central PA and along the Eastern Coast, however I have not found a tie us to them, although the naming patterns are similar sometimes!

Good to see you on here Ed. I understand you've conversed with Donald Paul Woodburn. He's really interested in our line and I hope he finds something for us. As you can see I didn't hear from Regina again so don't know what she's doing or what line she might be in. I haven't done a lot of genealogy for a few years but Don is trying to get me going again. LOL
