Wood New York to Michigan

I am researching the line of George Wood, he was born in the early 1800's in New York? He died before 1870 in New York. He married Mary Wardell.
They had a son, George Cornelius b. 1 Mar 1868 in Poughkeepsie, New York and d. 7 Oct 1950 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He worked as a supplies manager for Vassar College for a long time. He is buried in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. He married Helen Naomi Wheeler about 1890. They had one son named Stnaley (William) Wheeler Wood. (my great grandfather). After Helen died in 1903 George C. married Olive Whaley in 1905. The had one daughter, Elise Jane who eventually became a Nun.

Stanley eventually moved to Michigan where he married Lillian Lardie. (My great grandparents).
