Hey John,
I dropped in on this forum because of my love of history, and how it drives my interest in genealogy.
I'm looking for a group that might be interested in compiling a book that could be titled, "Cultural and Historical Backgrounds for Genealogists."
The idea is to discover the context of what was popular, political and cultural at the time of an ancestors life. ex: What was the popular song of the time?
Does that interest anyone?

Although I like to include this type of information in my research, most of it can easily be found online these days. Happy to take a look for something specific if someone has a need.
