There are no boundaries for writing your family history. You can develop your own format and be as creative as you want

I started writing my family history book 1 year ago. I had years of genealogical research including volumns of records on many of my lineages, however, I knew I wanted something different from  the dry and boring genealogical books I had read in the library. So I tried to weave my own family memories and family stories throughout my book along with interesting local historical informaton. After publishing my book, I decided I wanted to share what I had learned over the years along with providing my book on-line for others to search.
