I'm researching the Smith family of Lower Mt. Bethel, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. We've gone as far back as Stephen Smith marrying Mary Ann Smith (not related) in 1837, and their parents Simon Smith and Caroline Frey and Edward K. Smith and Maryann Reaser, born about 1812.

I have cousins born in Akron, OH that are Smith's, their dad Robert Kenzie Smith was born in WV abt 1924.
I also have distant Smith connections, married to my mother's Robinson family also located in OH.

I am looking for any information on Eleazer Smith :Birth abt 1744 in Connecticut, USA : Death after 1804 in Greenbush, Rensselaer co., NY.
Eleazer was married to Mary ???. They had 10 children, all born in Litchfield, Connecticut. Mary, Rockey, Noadiah, Sarah, Lucina, Mercy, Dorothy, Zadoc, Eleazer and Daniel William.

I have two Smith families, on my Father's side the Smith's came from Clarksburg, WV in 1830s, and on my mothers side from Union County, Georgia in 1850, his father was born in North Carolina.

My great-great-great-grandfather was John Mack Smith (2/26/1831 - 1/13/1900), Married to Nancy Ellen Hickman (2/4/1834 - 8/15/1896). Their son John F Smith (2/8/1852 - 11/16/1923) married Emma Delphenia Baldwin (3/26/1855 - 10/20/1947); their son Ray Ross Smith (9/28/1890 in Boyd, KS - 12/17/1973) married Edna May Becker (6/8/1890 - 10/12/1985); their son Wilmer LaVern Smith is my maternal grandfather. I'd like to know if there is any information on John Mack Smith & his family to see how far back they could be traced. Thanks!

Dunam Smith (12 Sep 1826 Ohio - 28 Jan 1895 Harrison Co., MO) married Mary M. Rench (11 Oct 1825 - 23 Jul 1892 Harrison Co., MO). They had David Smith (17 Apr 1850 Henry Co., IN - 06 Oct 1932 Harrison Co., MO) that married Mary Margaret York, John Smith (05 Jun 1852 Indiana - 21 Jun 1906 Harrison Co., MO) that married Susan McKillen, Peter Smith ( 03 Jan 1855 IN - 23 Dec 1859 IN). I am looking for parents of Dunam/Dunham Smith and am looking for burial for Peter Smith. Glad to exchange information.

My gr grandfather was McClellan George Smith, born in Vermont. His father was also born in Vermont and from there I believe, though have not proved or found that that Smith line came from Rhode Island. Following Smith research would seem to be most difficult. My great-grandmother was Lillie Viola Smith (1875-1931) from Bibb County, Alabama and an orphan. Her father was named Kirby Smith, mother was Fannie Fulman. No one seems to know what Kirby's father's name was or where they may have come from. Fannie died when Lillie was about 10 years old. The family was broken up and children "adopted" by various neighbors.

My brickwall ancestor is my great grandmother Susan Melvina Smith b.1842 in Hunterdon Cty, NJ, died in 1902 in Kankakee Cty, Il. She married Austin W. Ewing in Kendall Cty, Il in 1863. I cannot find out who her parents were. I have her marriage lisc and there is no mention of her mother and father. There is no death cert for her as that was not required in Il in 1902.

Hi all, my name is Judith E. (Smith) Davis my perdicument is that my fathers mother was supossedly married at the time of his birth to a HARRIMAN but he was ill and so my grandmother had a child from a "SMITH" . My fathers name was Harry Douglas Smith and he was born in Troy, N.Y. I'm not sure but I had been told that "his fathers" name was William Harry Smith and might have two half brothers named Robert and sorry I forget. Don't know the wifes name. We all lived in Maine at the time.

They had a son William Smith born 1817 in Guernsey Co, OH who married Lydia Mosier/ Mosher born 1821 in Chillocothe, Ross, OH. They had a son John Hurst Smith born 1856 in Jackson Twp, Vinton, OH and he married Theresa Angeline Craig born 1856 in Dubois Co, IN.

This branch of the Smith family ended up in Johnson County, Missouri (west) right near the Kansas border.
