    Nice to hear from you. We are just outside Mount Stewart. We are both from England originally. We have been on PEI for just over two years. Spent 4 years in New Brunswick before that. Haven't found much genealogical activity in PEI.

LOL....Most of my research has been in Quebec on my side of the family, but I do have to make it back to PEI for additional research pre-1860's back to the founding of the island.     Douwe Harmense, who eventually adopted Talma or Taelman as a surname, came from Friesland. I always heard he was from Harlingen, but Sylvia Binch Talma says he was born in Buitenpost.
