    Hi Debbie,
    Our Blanton line came out of Virginia about 1810 and settled in Kentucky. They never left Kentucky. Where were your Blanton's from before going to Texas?

    Do you know the name of your John Blanton's wife? I have several John Blanton's in my Famy Tree Maker program that fits the time frame of yours. I have one who was married to Ann Withrow/Whitlow and their son was also John Blanton, born 1775 but have no info on him.
