Thanks for the additional information. I don't know any more about the property, etc. Thomas, of course, died years before Henrietta---he was much older. Henrietta moved to Iowa with her second son, Elias Spry. We have never been able to find out what happened to son #1, Thomas. Did he die at an early age? Or what happened to him? I thought he might have been killed in the Civil War since he was about the right age, but could find no evidence of that. (Elias Spry served in the War from the state of Illinois.) Henrietta is buried in Bourne Cemetery which is about 5 miles north of Wiota, Iowa. Her side of the three-person monolith stone says that she is "Mother of E. Spry; wife of T. Spry." the other two on that stone are Elias and his wife Emily Lambert Spry. If Henrietta ever got any more from Lawrence's estatte, I wouldn[t know. --Maxine

I am looking my my Grandmother Lucy Alice Kenney Fitz's parents Michael and Mary Jane Kenney In the 1880 census they and their 8 children were living in Zanesville in Muskingam county and I had hoped they may have moved to Knox county where their daughter Lucy Alice and her husband Marion Homer Fitz lived My Father and his 3 siblings were raised in Mt Vernon and my Grandparents are buried there Thanks again Valerie
