At 4:32am on February 21, 2010, mary ellen carpenter said…: hi it is very interesting i have a old envelope from a mrs mary doogan dunmore falcarragh co donegal. it would have to have been before 1945. annie died 29/9/1945. tenterfield i also have a old pray book in it to john quinn with best wishes from maggie gallagher barney quinn name is on the back page. i have barney quinn clock a black one made 1873. barney died 28/7/1923 tenterfield ellen died 1927. tenterfield. dad always refered to bernard as barney. dad was bernard born 15/1/1905. sister mary born 1/3/1903. mary married joseph andrew schiffmann 1/3/1949 bernard married florence elizabeth bailey 4/6/1940 mum was born devon england mary and joseph had no family i was a only child born 1/8/1944. m. leslie noel carpenter 30/3/1968. darren scott b.15/1/1969 paul leslie b. 18/12/1970. darren has a daughter paul has two daughters. i hope this will help mary

At 1:54am on February 20, 2010, mary ellen carpenter said…: hi there my great grandmother was mary quinn she had a brother bernard came to australia tenterfield new south wales 1859 sister ellen also came out to her brother bernard 1874 neither married bernard was the second son of patrick quinn and mary gallagher mary quinn married john deeny deney i think she might have been married before they had annie my grandmother she had a sister married to a doohan i think mary 1911 census there is a owen doogan and mary lived with her uncle patrick quinn i was wondering if he might have been bernard brother.mary deney was still alive 1903 when annie married joseph grogan tenterfield annie also came to austrelia tenterfield to bernard and ellen.i think the quinns came from dunmore donegal because bernard called his farm dunmore farm it is still called that today. i hope this will be some help for both of us. mary
