John Hale has not received any gifts yet
They are buried in Lenoir City, TN., (That's in Loudon County), in the Lenoir City Cemetary.
John, I had seen some of that information in an earlier post you made. In some of my research recently I found an Atkins who married into the Hales but it was more recent.
My mother who is in her 80's now had always heard that their was an Indian connection and someone in the family got a letter at one time about claiming land in OKLAHOMA.
Did you ever find out who Henry and John Hale's grandfather was?
James Hannah
John,
Thank you for writing back so soon. I will write you again if I find out anything on the Akers.
of Tenn. I didn't realize there was a connection there!
Thanks again,
James
Hi John Hale,
I'm a relative of yours through John Hale/Sarah Fawbush.
their son Henry who married Rebecca Fawbush
their daughter Mattie Ella who married William Kegley
their son Fred A. Kegley who married Ida Martha Johns
their daughter Sarah Ella Kegley married my father
James Taylor Hannah.
That is my line to John Hale. I have recently found a lot of your information online and I was so happy to find someone with information on our line of Hale's. it confirmed a lot of what I had speculated on. I recently visited the graveyard in Lenoir City, Tn where Henry Hale and Rebecca Fawbush are buried, and have a picture of my mother Sarah standing next to the Tombstone. Would like to talk with you more if you can.
your relative,
James David Taylor Hannah
