I have found him on Mississippi census records and his marriage in MS in 1870 but all these are after he left home. He should appear on the 1860 MS census as 9 years of age but I have been unable to locate him. He married Mary Walker. He died at Longtown, MS in 1890. I have info on the family from John onward. He was my ggf. I am sure he was a poor sharecropper so the 1860 census taker may have declined to ride his horse to the home. Any help greatly appreciated. I will be glad to share Sutton info with you.
