Married Joseph A. Crawford in 1878, They had a son Reeves who was my Grandfather. Hettie's father was William Showell Hudson, b. 1815 in Worcester Co., MD. Married in 1845 to Julia Ann Powell who was also born in Worcester Co.

Comment by Claudia Eddington Gibson on January 29, 2010 at 5:57am: Debbie, I also have Hudson's in Worcester Co., MD. My GGrandmother was Hettie Hudson. I think there is a Lott? Hudson in there too but I'll check when I have the information in front of me. I hope we can communicate about this.

Comment by Leah on July 13, 2009 at 7:41pm: I've been able to trace my Hudsons to 17th Century Virginia in the Accomack area. They spread out to other parts of Virginia and then ended up in the Pulaski Co. area of Kentucky right after the Revolutionary War. I've able to trace other branches of my Hudsons and they ended up all over Kentucky, Illinois, Fannin Co. in Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma and other areas. Some of the surnames my Hudsons married into include Wellons, Buster, Long, Vaughn, Stewart, Lee, Muse, Durham and Epperson. If anyone is connected with these Hudsons (or thinks they might be), I'd really love to exchange information.
