Bates Home, Dudley, Massachusetts

This was the home of John Bates (1748-1834) and Chloe Fuller, my 5th great-grandparents. John built this home when he migrated to Dudley from Cohasset, Massachusetts, where he was born. The home remained in the family for at least two more generations, until my g-g-grandfather Allen Bates took his family to Tracy, Minnesota in 1875.
