You did not identify the people in the old photo on the right in the old house porch. From left to right they are Sarah Thompson Dobkins and her husband John Dobkins, who was the son of Thomas and Mary Brickey McAdams Dobkins. Next to them are Mary Staples Dobkins and her husband James Dobkins, who was also a son of Thomas and Mary Brickey McAdams Dobkins. Thomas and Mary were some of the very first settlers of Washington County, Missouri, emigrating there around 1817. (Carol, correct this anywhere I have 'goofed'.
The two little girls are myself (on the left) and my sister, Beth. The handsome man is my great-grandfather, Joshua Dobkins; next to him is my brother Earnest Winfield Dobkins. The bottom row is my great-grandmother, Susan Jane Compton Gregory; the scenery is the view from the gravesite of Jacob Dobkins in Claiborne County, TN. He was a Revolutionary War Soldier who fought at King's Mountain. On the right are my grandfather and grandmother, William Devol Dobkins & Emma Ora Mae Gregory, in their later years.
